- sausages
- baby new potatoes
- chopped carrots
- one onion, chopped
- mushrooms, sliced
- tin of baked beans
- tin of chopped tomatoes
- one clove of garlic, crushed
- gravy powder or one stock cube.
Grill the sausages separately.
In the meantime use a wok or big saucepan, fry the chopped onion in a little oil, adding garlic (optional), when soft, add the tomatoes, throw in the mushrooms, carrots and potatoes and let them cook mostly through on a low heat.
Throw in the beans and a little gravy powder (to your own taste).
Chop the cooked sausages while that’s simmering for a minute then throw those in too. Stir for a minute then serve!
My kids like to have a slice of bread to mop up the left over sauce. Also the gravy powder can be substituted with a beef stock cube, or left out entirely if preferred!
