Ingredients
  • 500 g dry penne or rigatoni
  • 400 g minced beef
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 400 ml chicken or vegetable stock
  • 120 g Philadelphia Light with Garlic & Herbs
Instructions
Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onion gently until softened and golden. Add the beef and mix well allowing the minced meat to crumble.
Cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until the meat has browned.
Pour off any fat then add the stock and simmer, without the lid on, for 30 minutes stirring occasionally. If it dries out too much, add a little more stock. Mix in the Philly and season to taste.
In the meantime, in a large saucepan, cook the pasta as directed on the pack. Then drain and immediately add to the sauce. Stir well then divide onto 4 plates.

  • Delicious served topped with some grated parmesan cheese or parmesan shavings.
